-You will drop off ALL your items you wish to sell at my home on a designated day/time you will choose on your registration form. You may only drop off once. I cannot accept late items. If you need me to come to your home to pick up your items that is an extra fee of $50. Please let me know if you would like this service.
-When tagging your items, I will use the following items: zip ties, card stock, printer ink, zip lock bags, masking tape, packing tap, safety pins, and hangers, etc. There is a $25 fee for supplies that is due at registration. Please click the pay pal link at the bottom of your registration form to pay this fee.
-All toys and equipment that require batteries must have working batteries to be accepted in the sale. If your toy requires me to replace the batteries, there will be an extra fee. Please bring all toys and equipment in working order at drop off. Also, please be considerate and bring items in a clean condition. I cannot sell items with stains, tears, or broken parts.
-I will determine the price at which your items will be sold. If you have a specific price for an item, you may note that on your registration form. The way I go about pricing an item is as follows: I look up the item on notable online retailers to see the retail price it is selling for currently. I then take half of that price and increase or decrease the price based on the condition of the item. With clothing, I generally price generic pieces (wal-mart, target, old navy etc.) below $5 a piece. Higher quality clothing such as boutique pieces can be priced as high as $20-$25 for sets. I generally think what would I pay for this item and price it accordingly.
-Profit: Once your item has sold, the consignment sale gets 30% of your profits and a $10.00 fee will be deducted from your 70% of the proceeds at the end of the sale. It will be detailed on your tally sheet ($9.50 advertising and .50 postage to mail your proceeds check to you). The remaining amount will then be split 50/50 between you (the client) and me. You will receive a check in the mail for the full amount. After receiving the check, you will have one week to send 50% payment to me via paypal, or personal check. After one week, there will be a $25 late fee per week you are late on payment. You will be sent a final bill via email so you will know the exact amount you owe.
-You will have two weeks to pick up any remaining items you would like back after the sale is complete. If you have not picked up your items within the two week period, then they will be donated.
-One major advantage to being a consigner is the opportunity to participate in the Private Pre-Sale on Tuesday night prior to the public sale Wednesday through Saturday! Consigners shop early on Tuesday at 6pm. Cash or Card, Debit Preferred (no checks). Please mark the corresponding option on your registration form if you would like your pre-sale pass.
